I loved this cute little project from A Beautiful Mess! SO simple & easy, just draw with a sharpie & bake for 30 mins @ 350. Also, Sucre lyrics just BELONG on coffee mugs. Perfect.

School’s been keping me a bit too busy for tumblr, but i’m never too busy for crafting! Here are some cute projects i’ve done recently!
Hello Tumblr lovelies! I recently found out that I am one of 14 students selected to go to Costa Rica this Spring Break on a mission trip. We will be helping a local church serve their community which was destroyed by an earthquake. This is an AMAZING opportunity, but it comes with a steep financial burden. I need almost $1000 by March, and I have no clue where it’s going to come from. I don’t have a driver’s license or a job. What I do have is a passion and talent for jewelry making, so I’m going to try my best to use it to bring in some money! If you want to help me, and you’re interested in buying one of the items above you can go here:

You can also help by donating directly. Go to online giving at www.rockpointechurch.com and select Missions. You’ll need to send an email to finance@rockpointechurch.com let them know what it’s for. I don’t think it’s specific beyond that in the giving form.
Every dollar gets me a little closer to my goal, and your help will play a HUGE role in changing my life & those of the people I will be serving. Thank you all so much!
DIY: Tribal Print Sweater
I’ve been seeing this tribal print everywhere lately, and i decided to make my own! It was SO easy, and I think this is my new favorite sweater!

You will need:
A solid-colored sweater (or t-shirt), i got mine for $4 at Ross.

3 shades of fabric paint (mine are from Hobby Lobby, specifically for screen printing), and some tape. I used clear packing tape, and i was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked!

First, cut a piece of cardboard roughly the size of your sweater & slip it inside to prevent colour bleeding.

Tape off a diamond in the middle of the shirt. (it doesn’t have to be perfect, no one will notice when you’re wearing it.)

Paint a thin line along the inside edge of the diamond:

Peel the tape up, then tape off & paint a triangle at the top of the diamond:

Peel the tape off: (if you’ve done it right, you can have a little party here in celebration of how lovely the lines turned out!)

You can probably figure it out from here. You just repeat those 3 steps; tape off a shape, paint it, peel it.

Depending on the paint you buy, you may be done here, or there may be a few more steps. My paint needed to dry for 24 hours, be pressed with an iron, then washed cold. If you do this, please post photos! Enjoy my lovelies! <3
