abookandatardis:

Switchfoot just released their new album today (9/27). Its called Vice Verses and you should definitely check it out. If you know and love Switchfoot, I sincerely hope you love this album as much as I do. If you’ve never listened to Switchfoot, just give it a try. I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

This album is, above all, so overwhelmingly heartfelt. The emotion put into every single second of this record underlies everything. The Switchfoot boys are singing this one with everything they’ve got. I didn’t think it could get much more sincere than Hello Hurricane, given the struggle they had with that record, but they’ve topped that.

And that is truly saying something.

From the power of Afterlife, to the slick beats of Selling the News, from the soaring worship of Restless, to the emotionally charged, searing album closer Where I Belong, Vice Verses is simply amazing. There’s not a bad song on there, in my (albiet biased) opinion.
