I seriously do not understand

how ANYONE can read Matthew 5:43-48 and still say things like “God bless America” and “we support our troops”!!! It literally makes me sick to my stomach.

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil. For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land. (Psalm 37:7-9 NIV)

This was in my daily reading this morning…it made me take a step back as far as the Troy Davis situation is concerned.

America, you disgust me. Troy, I pray you knew the Lord and are in heaven, free from this mess. Jesus, come destroy this place and resurrect Your bride!
